Washington gets:

Rick DiPietro

NYI Gets:

1st round draft pick (next seasons)
Orlov(prospect)
Perreault (prospect)

-Washington gets a young, solid goaltender to start, allowing markstrom plenty of time to develop.

Don't forget, Washington gets Martinek.

Pretty much the last big asset on the team sees the door, in return I get a good first rounder and two mid-range prospects.

The rebuild is almost complete, I just want to move a few more veterens and I'm probably done making moves this seaosn.

I'm just going to wonder how the Caps plan to re-sign DiPietro?

You guys need to start saying the year of the pick. I assume next year's 1st means 2012 1st.
