Brokered through James, as Vancouver doesn't currently have a GM

To VAN(Manitoba) Jason Morgan, Jeff Paul, Mike Mottau, Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre, Jim Fahey, Allen Rourke, Mattias Timander

To NYI(Bridgeport) $1M

Basically
what this does is gives Manitoba six defenseman, albiet minor
leaguers, but still six guys. Fahey and Rourke are good enough to fill
in for injuries on the big club as well. Plus they get a center. So now
they almost have a full minor league team. Only one of these guys is a
UFA too. I clear out some roster space, and get a little cash back..
about $1.5K per player.

I usually don't do deals for teams without GM's, but in this case they're gaining a fair number of players for an actually low amount. All they have to give up is cash so I think this is a good deal for Vancouver.

Thanks Ian!
