program confusion

I'm very confused as to how the program works in general and also confused as to why certain players on my team in the program cannot be dressed such as owen nolan.

can you get those few guys of mine dressed that were unable? if not how ccan they be on me team against the cap if they cant be dressed?

Yea, I need to figure that one out. I still can't move those guys for Washington either. It doesn't make sense but still working on it.

Any other more specific issues?

I've been racking my brain here trying to figure out what the issue might be. I've tried altering league options, contracts...anything I can think of. Nothing seems to work.

The only thing that I can remotely guess would be due to the 'translation' from FHL to STHS. I don't know if that's the issue...but it's my best guess.

See what I mean? It just doesn't make sense.

Couple of suggestions.

1. Try releasing them with 0% buyout penalty and then resigning them to their respective teams.

2. If that doesn't work you might try erasing them and then recreating the players and then assign them to their respective teams.

But there's so many of them.. it's not like it's 10 players. There's lots.

I can try the buying out thing, but I'd need to know which players to do this for.

This buying out worked. I've fixed it for St.Louis and Washington. Any other players I need to do this for?

i'm also a little confused with how we can edit our lines via the program. there is no option to sign in so someone could change the lines of every team. also, all the information is stored on the .sts file so how does it get back to you so you can make the changes?

You use the program to edit lines for your own team, then send them to me at the commish email so I can upload it to the sim.

i tried and it didnt work..

yeah, need updated rosters before my lines can be sent in using the program. unless you would like me to just email you the lines in text if that would be easier for you

I have two players that I can't move to my Pro Team: Steve Ott and Daniel Tjarnqvist, even when there's room, they are automatically moved back to scratches. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I just found out that only Bell, Gaustad, Cen, Bernier, Paille, and Mancari can be moved to the Pro Team RW. And combined with the other problems this gives me 5 RW and 3 Centers.

Your problem has been fixed. Rosters and files have been updated but will be updated again by the end of the night.

trying to get everything setup , was traveling alot with work and got back to ineternet not working finally up and running, i have the Simon T Hockey Simulator client and file loaded. What is that other program and do we need it if so where do I get the file it is the Simon T Hockey Simulator.

You'll need to download the support files as well I think. Then just install them and you should be good.
