So as james mentioned, the boards are kind of quiet. I'm going to be the first one to do a weekly write up about the team or a prospect on my team. It doesnt matter if you want to write about your whole team, one guy, or someone in the minors, but like me, im sure many are interested in other gm's views on their team. You can write about anyone or anything about your team or someone on the team. Or even your views about the league if you want to go wild.
Anyways,
I'm going to start with my first round draft pick from this year, Jacob Markstrom. After starting the year kind of average, Markstrom has really turned it on in Hershey's 5 game winning streak. He's got a save % of over .910 including a shutout, not allowing more than 3 goals in any game in the last 7 games. Markstrom's overall ratings have increased above Ray Emery and Mikael Tellqvist, the goalies in washington, but since he is just 19 years old, Markstrom will most likely remain at hershey for at least the rest of this season. As the GM, i'm incredibly happy with how well he has played this season. He is certainly the one person who is untradable on my team.
