JBL is very, very tough...but I think he's past his prime. No doubt he'd like to give it a shot. And why not? He has size and a brutal hook that can knock you flat out unconscious. Reach goes a long way in MMA as long as you have the power behind the punch and the ability to land them.

TNA, like WCW used to be, is indeed where many former WWE wrestlers go. Thing is, many times they come back. Pro wrestling is a strange business...where else can you get fired or quit your job, only to come back a little while later and be celebrated?

TNA offers something that WWE doesn't. Lighter travel schedules. For people with families, that's important. Victoria and Lashley both signed on with TNA because they were able to work both the wrestling business AND work on their MMA careers. (btw, congrats to Lashley on his win over Sapp)

Lilian is gone soon. She just got married and WWE is looking to replace her, as she wants to be at home with her family and work on her music career (new album coming out this year -- english!). I'm curious to see who they get for the job.

The additions of Swagger, Henry and Bourne to RAW has left ECW really, really thin. It was just starting to become an interesting show to watch...and now who does Christian have as competition? Dreamer? Pfft. Dreamer's likely going to be the new ECW General Manager, as they are likely going to put Tiffany elsewhere.

Oh, and there's been some teasing of E&C reuniting...how cool is THAT!

well the thing with some wrestlers like foley doesnt seem interested in wrestling in wwe then goes to tna and apparently wrestles now.

ecw got shelton benjamin thats good.

sd got the hart dynasty i've seen a bit of them their not bad.

but raw came out on top again with swagger and bourne.

and lillian is prob gonna be out of wrestling for good since she cant bring any thing else the the company

Yes, Lilian is gone from wrestling.

Foley put the boots back on to wrestle some of the guys he never really got the chance to wrestle before, and to hold the TNA title at least once. He's good for that company, and hopefully gives it some direction. They're making some of the mistakes that WCW made...focusing far too much on the three or four main eventers, rather than promoting the guys that will carry them into the future.

Enough with the Suicide crap and bring Kaz back. Push Morgan completely over and let Nash retire already.

They'll put the belt on him eventually. Even if it's only for a short time. They need to keep the 'smaller' guys in the mix for the big titles to keep a bit of unpredictability going. And if they truly believe that Morrison is the second coming of HBK, they'll want to push him as far as they can.

He's incredibly talented, definitely one of my favourites right now. I just hope when he DOES win the belt, it isn't the same way Punk did.

On a related note, I love the Miz/Cena angle. Miz in some sort of strange way represents a lot of Canada's attitude towards Cena, and I like how WWE is playing off of it.

morrison should win the royal rumble and have the storybook wm match. and cena and miz wasnt that great miz came out for a month claimed he beat him cena beat him its over. how miz insulted him, was good really takes balls to come out like that

I don't know if he'll take a Rumble match...but I could see him winning either MitB (and NOT winning in a 'cheap' manner) or a King of the Ring tourney.

The match on Raw between Miz and Cena was far better than the one at the Bash. Cena's doing a great job of putting Miz over, and I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually gets a legit win over Cena.

soon enought he'll beat cena and maybe he'll hook up with the lovely maryse and cena and miz feud will end and have a miz-ryse era

Anywho...

I wouldn't mind that. They're possibly the two most 'how much can I annoy everyone' types in the business right now, and I'm liking them both. Maryse is great, though I know it's only a matter of time before Kelly Kelly comes knocking for the title.

Someone that I really wish WWE would hire is Shelley Martinez. She was always my favourite knockout in TNA (Salenas).

Trish was a five time women's champ, rose to popularity when she was the valet/manager for T&A (Test and Albert)...ended up being put over as a sex symbol by HHH and has tagged with Cena in Toronto, just to try and put HIM over in this neck of the woods.

On top of that, it's not very often that Vince lets anyone retire from WWE as a champion. ;-)

Maryse has held the Diva's belt...I'm a big fan of hers, but really, that's not even a real belt. lol There are two types of 'diva' in WWE. Eye candy and wrestlers. Maryse is learning, but she's still mostly eye candy.

maryse is in her first years she'll prob keep the title for a couple more weeks hopefully win it back or atleast be in the title picture for her homecoming. she fights very hard, she wasnt eye candy for long.

but tonites sd maria was looking hotttttttttt i think i (to borought a quote from a fellow hall of famer) need to get my smile surgically removed at the end of the night.

He's only as good as they'll let him be. He's got a lot of talent, and he's not bad on the mic...for some reason he just can't seem to get 'over'.

I think that if Helms had kept his 'no nonsense' persona he had before his injury, him and Chavo could have had some legendary matches together.

i no when he was ecw champ it was pretty good, decent push i didnt watch much ecw but what i saw was good. i think i started watching wrestling around the time of helms injury, i loooked into old feuds on youtube but only the big stuff never looked into that stuff

Helms was kind of a joke when he was Hurricane Helms...he was amazing when he ruled the lightweight division as just a kick-ass wrestler. Not really sure why he's going back to the Hurricane nonsense.

Maybe Velvet Sky has a thing for guys in green tights.

I do on occasion, yes. Basically when there's nothing else on my PVR, I'll look back on some old matches. I like watching the old Hitman matches...he was so skilled in the ring.

ive only seen one it was lightwieght stuff, but at some point they gotta bring out the big stars

Interesting story developing in TNA. Kurt's ex-wife, Karen, and her kids have been living with Jeff Jarrett.

Looks like Double J got himself his own gold medal.

You really should watch it. They have a great talent pool. It's a little campy when you first start watching it...but it grows on you after a few shows.
